Row over disability benefit cuts proposals

The government is facing the threat of a parliamentary revolt over planned cuts in benefits to people with disabilities.

The leading disability campaigner Graeme Ellis has resigned from the Conservative Party over the issue.

The Chancellor George Osborne insists those in genuine need will not lose out.
