Nick Herbert MP defends new EU campaign group

Conservative MP Nick Herbert spoke to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics about his new pro-European Tory campaign group.

The former minister, who led the campaign to keep Britain out of the euro 15 years ago, did not confirm he would definitely vote to remain in the EU, instead saying he backed David Cameron's bid to renegotiate the UK's relationship with Brussels.

He said the PM had not put him up to forming the group, called Conservatives for Reform in Europe.
