UKIP leader Nigel Farage: 'We are a very united party'

Nigel Farage has dismissed a call for him to step down as UKIP leader, insisting that the party is "united".

Douglas Carswell, the party's only MP, told BBC Essex that they needed a "fresh face" as leader.

Mr Farage said "91% of UKIP voters" were behind his leadership and warned Mr Carswell to "put up, or shut up".
