Corbyn: Labour's Oldham win 'clear vote of confidence'

Jeremy Corbyn has said Labour's comfortable victory in the Oldham West and Royton by-election demonstrates a clear vote of confidence in the party.

Jim McMahon won with an increased share of the vote but the result has sparked a bitter row with the UK Independence Party, which came second.

UKIP is said to be considering a formal complaint over alleged abuses in the postal vote.

BBC chief political correspondent Vicki Young reports from Oldham.
