Yvette Cooper: I disagree with Corbyn on shoot-to-kill

Former shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper said she disagreed with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn's views on the UK's shoot-to-kill policy.

Mr Corbyn has said he is "not happy" with such a policy, saying it is "quite dangerous" and could be "counter-productive".

But Ms Cooper told Jo Coburn: "I disagree with what he [Mr Corbyn] said yesterday."

She said there was a "long-standing legal framework" which allowed lethal force to be used if there was "an imminent threat to life" - and that "it has to remain Labour's policy" to support it.
