MPs pledge their solidarity with France after Paris attacks

Home Secretary Theresa May, speaking in French in the House of Commons, has said "we are in solidarity" with France.

She made the comments after Edward Leigh, chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on France, expressed his solidarity with "our colleagues in the National Assembly".

A total of 129 people died in Friday's attacks on bars, restaurants, a concert hall and a stadium in Paris.
