Boris Johnson forced to cut short West Bank visit

BBC London's Karl Mercer reports from Ramallah where London Mayor Boris Johnson has had to abandon planned visits to the West Bank because of security fears following his comments about people who support a trade boycott of Israel.

Earlier this week, Mr Johnson described British proponents of a boycott of Israeli goods as "corduroy jacketed-academics... by and large lefty academics that have no real standing in the matter".
