CIA report: Theresa May denies asking for redactions

The Home Secretary Theresa May has denied asking for redactions to the US Senate report on CIA enhanced interrogation techniques, other than those needed to protect national security.

She was asked by MPs on the Home Affairs Select Committee whether there should be a judge-led inquiry - but she said the US inquiry had been conducted by the US Senate and therefore it was appropriate for Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee to continue its work.
