Cameron insists UK's finances are 'under control'

Prime Minister David Cameron has insisted that the UK's finances are "under control", as he announced plans to invest £15bn in new road schemes in England.

However Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls said a Labour government would be "tough on the deficit and tough on the causes of the deficit".
