Nigel Farage: Bombing IS will "kill lots of civilians"

UKIP leader Nigel Farage has criticised the government's plan for airstrikes against Islamic State in Iraq.

"The trouble with bombing is you kill lots of civilians", said Mr Farage.

He stated that a successful operation would require "boots on the ground" and said there is no appetite for that.

He spoke to the BBC from Doncaster, where the party's annual conference is being held.
