Tory MP David Amess: Labour and Lib Dems more 'posh'

An MP said he was fed up with fellow Conservatives being labelled as "posh" and coming from a "wealthy background", as up to 50 of them were from the working classes.

And David Amess said the "real wealth and poshness" was on the Labour and Liberal Democrat benches in the Commons.

The Southend West MP was speaking about the upper class image of MPs as the Daily Politics looked at Riot Club film with a plot about the behaviour of upper class students.
