David Cameron on reshuffle: Team reflects modern Britain

Prime Minister David Cameron has defended the major changes he has made in his latest cabinet reshuffle, ahead of the 2015 general election.

Several women have been placed in prominent roles, although Mr Cameron has faced criticism that he has not done more to promote equality in the cabinet.

Among the surprise moves is former Education Secretary Michael Gove, who is to become the new chief whip.
