PMQs: Cameron and Miliband on phone hacking and Coulson

Labour leader Ed Miliband said "today we know" that David Cameron's hand-picked adviser was a criminal, and that the prime minister had "wilfully ignored multiple warnings" about him.

Mr Cameron said all of the issues raised by the Labour leader had been dealt with by the Leveson Inquiry.

He read out some of the findings, and said "Leveson made no criticism of my conduct in this regard whatsoever."

The pair clashed for 11 minutes over Coulson's appointment, and the phone hacking claims, which led to a trial where the former director of communications was convicted on Tuesday of conspiracy to hack phones.
