Iraq inquiry: Agreement reached on Blair-Bush documents

The Iraq Inquiry says it has reached agreement on the "principles that will underpin disclosure" of communications between former US President George Bush and former Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The report from the inquiry has already been delayed, with differences over the release of pre-war notes and talks between the two leaders blamed.

In a letter, inquiry chairman Sir John Chilcot said "detailed consideration" of what to release was taking place.

There is no report publication date.

Norman Smith reports.
