PM urges Scotland to vote No in independence referendum

The prime minister has urged the Scottish people to vote No to an independent Scotland.

Speaking in London, David Cameron said the outcome of September's Scottish independence referendum was "still up in the air", and he could not bear to see the UK "torn apart".

He said he believed "passionately" that "it is in [Scotland's] interests to stay in the United Kingdom."
