Theresa May: Syrian refugees to be allowed into UK

The Home Secretary, Theresa May, has set out plans for Britain to admit a small number of refugees from Syria.

She announced the UK would allow refugees at greatest risk - victims of violence and torture, and women and children - into the UK.
