Universal Credit may not be ready by 2017 as planned

Iain Duncan Smith had hoped to implement the Universal Credit scheme by the end of 2017.

Now he has told the BBC that transferring some people who receive Employment Support Allowance on to the new benefit may take "a little longer" than originally planned.

Ross Hawkins reports.
