NHS spending priorities: deprived areas and pensioners

Health spending priorities see more money spent in areas of deprivation than affluent areas, but NHS England is consulting on changing the funding formula.

That could lead to deprived areas losing out to places with large numbers of elderly people.

Mark Denten from the Sunday Politics in North East England spoke to Sunderland Local Medical Committee secretary Dr Roger Ford, Central Dales Medical Practice manager Clive West and Conservative MP Anne McIntosh.
