Clothes reveal political party support and votes?

Clothes can help reveal which party people vote for, a survey has claimed.

It found Conservative men are most likely to wear a suit and tie, Labour men wear casual trousers and a shirt with a collar, while Lib Dem men are less likely to wear a suit and tie.

Cultural commentator Peter York looked at the results, while Lord West revealed the reason for his apparently ill-matching socks, and how he attracted attention on a London Underground train with his clothing.
