Bee decline: European Commission's pesticide ban
Declining numbers of the honeybee have prompted the government to launch an urgent and comprehensive review of the threat.
Apart from environmental fears, the loss of bee numbers is costing UK farmers almost £200 million a year, and the European Commission is having a two-year trial ban of some pesticides used in agriculture.
