Farage: 'we have to make big cuts' to public spending

UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage has told BBC Radio 5 live that he wants to see further cuts to government spending - starting with quangos.

He claimed that lowering taxes and cutting public sector jobs would help boost the economy.

Farage told BBC Radio 5 live's Victoria Derbyshire, "We're in real trouble. Our public services, our overseas aid, all the things we're spending money on - we can't afford to go on as we are. We have to make big cuts."
