Osborne on long-term spending plans
The Chancellor George Osborne has already announced how he will reduce government spending by £11.5bn pounds in 2015.
On Thursday the government will reveal more details of how billions of pounds will be invested in energy and transport.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast's Louise Minchin, Mr Osborne said that money would be made available for repairing the existing road network, as well as focusing on long-term infrastructure projects.
