Prison 'no holiday camp' says ex-officer Ava Vidal
Prison is no holiday camp, according to the comedian Ava Vidal who worked as a prison officer for five years at London's Pentonville jail.
She spoke as the government announced changes about uniforms and access to TV and gyms. She felt "politicians of all parties just don't seem to get it".
In her personal film for BBC1's This Week, she claimed: "If you start treating a human being like an animal, you can't be surprised if they starting acting like one."
