UK Border Agency to be split into distinct cultures

The UK Border Agency will be abolished with its work returning to the Home Office, Theresa May has announced.

The home secretary told MPs "its performance was not good enough" and that the agency would be split in two - one new body will deal with visas, and the other with law enforcement.
