McCanns defend Leveson proposals

Kate and Gerry McCann, the parents of missing toddler Madeleine, have called for the Leveson proposals to be implemented in full.

Speaking to Eddie Mair on the Andrew Marr Show, the couple said they felt proposals to set up a new press regulatory body backed by a royal charter would not be strong enough to satisfy their concerns.
