Hillsborough: Liverpool MP Steve Rotherham wants apology

The families of those who died in the Hillsborough disaster will have the first opportunity Wednesday to view an independent report into the tragedy.

Ninety six Liverpool fans were crushed during an FA Cup semi-final at the Sheffield Wednesday ground in April 1989.

The panel, chaired by the Bishop of Liverpool, has studied thousands of previously undisclosed files.

Labour MP for Liverpool Walton, Steve Rotherham, who was at the game, says there has to be a ''full and unreserved apology'' apology for what happened.
