Theresa May denies 'selective' account on Games security
London 2012 chairman Lord Coe has promised a "safe and secure Games" despite the security guards fiasco.
He told BBC Radio 4's Today programme ''we have got the numbers, courtesy of the military and our police services''.
Meanwhile, speaking at the security control room at the Olympic Park, Home Secretary Theresa May denied her account of a security staff shortfall was ''selective''.
She added there was ''no compromise in security'' for the Games.
