Public sector national pay rates to be scrapped

Trade unions have reacted angrily to proposals from the government to scrap national pay rates for public sector workers in this week's Budget.

Chancellor George Osborne is said to want civil service wages to reflect private sector pay in different areas across England and Wales.

James Landale reports.
