Hague: Torture allegations undermine UK

The Foreign Secretary William Hague has said allegations of UK complicity in extraordinary rendition, leading to torture, may have undermined Britain's standing in the world.

Speaking on Wednesday in London, he added that torture was "abhorrent", "wrong" and unacceptable under any circumstances.
