Lockerbie killer given experimental drugs, says cancer specialist

The man convicted of the Lockerbie killing has been kept alive by experimental drugs developed in the UK but not available in Britain.

Professor Karol Sikora examined Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi and gave him three months to live before the convicted killer went back to Libya, where he is still alive two years later.

The cancer specialist revealed the information to Jo Coburn on the Daily Politics.
