TUC: Public sector strike plans 'unchanged'

The government has outlined new plans for changes to public sector pensions.

Under the proposals, workers retiring in the next ten years would not be affected by the latest measures and new pensions will grow at a faster rate.

Following a joint unions meeting to discuss the government's offer, the TUC's Brendan Barber said the proposals were not good enough.
