Petrol and diesel costs 'strangling economy' says Fair Fuel UK

Rising fuel costs are "strangling the economy" and stopping people getting to work says Peter Carroll, who set up Fair Fuel UK.

He spoke to Anita Anand as average prices at the pump stand at 127p per litre, as fuel duty and VAT have both risen in the last few days.

The Petrol Retailers Association has written to the Chancellor warning that prices could hit 140p a litre unless action is taken.
