Coalition unveils migration cap of 21,700

The number of skilled migrant workers coming to Britain from outside the European Union will be cut by a fifth and capped at 21,700 from next year.

The new limit does not include companies who move staff into Britain from their overseas offices.

The BBC's Deputy Political Editor James Landale reports.
