Nick Clegg pressurised over university fees

The Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, has come under pressure in the House of Commons over the government's proposals to raise the upper limit on university tuition fees to £9,000 per year.

Standing in for David Cameron at Prime Minister's Questions, Mr Clegg was tackled on the issue by Labour's deputy leader, Harriet Harman.

She had asked whether it was still his aim to end tuition fees following a pledge he made in April.
