William Hague: 'Middle East window is closing'

The Foreign Secretary William Hague has urged the Israelis and the Palestinians to re-open direct talks.

Speaking to Andrew Marr after a visit to the region, Mr Hague said that if the two-state option failed, the Middle East could face problems for "much, much longer into the future".
