Nick Clegg defends record to Lib Dem conference

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has defended his record in the coalition government and rejected accusations of sacrificing principles for power.

At his party's conference in Liverpool the deputy prime minsiter said that only a Liberal Democrat election victory could ensure a full programme of his policies.
