Clegg: The importance of 'gritting your teeth'

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has told the BBC's Andrew Marr that the difficult decisions being made by the Coalition government may be unpopular, but that it was a "marathon not a sprint".

Speaking during the Lib Dem party conference, Mr Clegg said it was important to "grit your teeth and hold your nerve", when asked about his party's decline in the opinion polls.
