Labour leadership candidates deny 'lurch to left'

The candidates in Labour's leadership contest have had a final chance to make their cases in front of a Question Time audience.

They were asked by a member of the audience whether "a lurch to the left" could end in failure at the next general election.

With less than a week to go, Diane Abbott, Ed Balls and Andy Burnham are trailing Ed and David Miliband.

The results of the ballot will emerge next Saturday.
