Junior minister defends use of private detectives

A junior minister has admitted hiring private detectives to investigate his aides and colleagues.

Justice minister Jonathan Djanogly says he wanted to find out the source of allegations about his expenses that were made in newspapers. But he admits he may have over-reacted.
