Brown reflects on losing power and world economy

Gordon Brown has called on world leaders to recognise their "global responsibilities" when putting economic recovery measures in place.

The former prime minister was speaking to the BBC's Zeinab Badawi at an African Union summit in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, in his first interview since leaving Downing Street.

Mr Brown also said that he "wasn't bruised" by losing the election, and that it was the "end of an era" for him.
