Gerry Adams apologises for tweet

Gerry Adams has apologised for using the 'N-word' in a tweet comparing the plight of slaves in the US to the treatment of Irish nationalists.

The Sinn Féin leader's tweet compared about a character in the film Django Unchained provoked an angry reaction on social media and was later deleted.
