George Hamilton says unresolved issues from past sapping public confidence in police

The Chief Constable George Hamilton has told a conference to mark 15 years of the PSNI that unresolved issues from the past are sapping public confidence in the police.

He told the event in south Belfast that for further improvements in these areas there needed to be political and society solutions like the recent one achieved at Twaddell and Ardoyne.
