Gay cake: Legal expert 'surprised' at Ashers' adjournment

Legal affairs expert Joshua Rosenberg has said he was surprised at the decision by Northern Ireland's Attorney General to intervene in a discrimination case over a so-called 'gay cake'.

Mr Rosenberg said the decision in the case was unusual, but frustrating for those involved.

Last year, a Christian-run bakery was ordered to pay £500 for refusing to make a cake with a pro-gay marriage slogan on it.

On Wednesday, the appeal by Ashers was adjourned for three months shortly after it began.
