Archive: Eggs found in Carrickfergus

The BBC's Jeremy Bowen reports on what is believed to be "prehistoric eggs" found near Carrickfergus Castle in County Antrim.

Following blasting of nearby rock, and "strange noises" heard coming from the castle at night, locals believe attempts were being made to hatch one of the eggs "from the age of dinosaurs".
