Lagan Weir footbridge to be replaced in £5.5m investment

A new bridge will be built in Belfast to replace the existing Lagan Weir footbridge, it has been announced.

The new bridge will include access for cyclists and improve access to the Queen's Quay area, but at a cost of £5.5m, some have questioned whether it is necessary.
