Northern Ireland abortion law: public consultation on proposed changes

Abortions should be allowed in Northern Ireland where the foetus has a fatal abnormality, the Stormont Department of Justice has recommended.

The department is to begin a public consultation on amending the criminal law on abortion.

BBC News NI Health Correspondent Marie-Louise Connolly reports.
