Chief Constable George Hamilton: Budget cuts 'impossible'

Northern Ireland's chief constable has said budget cuts are forcing his organisation into a "virtually impossible position".

George Hamilton said cuts to the Police Service of Northern Ireland's budget would "fundamentally change how and where policing is delivered".

Mr Hamilton was addressing members of the Policing Board at a monthly meeting in Belfast.

BBC News NI Home Affairs Correspondent Vincent Kearney reports.
