PSNI budget cuts affect investigations into the past

The Police Service of Northern Ireland will suffer as a result of budget cuts of up to £80m, the Chief Constable has warned.

Speaking to the Policing Board, Chief Constable George Hamilton said the cuts could mean reducing the amount of resources used to investigate the past to concentrate on policing the present.
