Haass to chair talks in Belfast on parade tensions

Dr Richard Haass, a respected American diplomat, is due to begin talks in Belfast to try to bring an end to months of tension in Northern Ireland.

Party leaders will discuss the issues surrounding parades, flags, and how to deal with the region's troubled past.

It is hoped an agreement will be reached by Christmas.
