NI hit by weather chaos

Wintry conditions in parts of counties Antrim and Down caused havoc for motorists with many stuck for several hours.

Vehicles were abandoned when roads became impassable and there have been several reports of crashes.

The weather has also played havoc with schools with many being closed across Northern Ireland.

Mervyn Jess reports for BBC Newsline.
